National Air Quality Monitoring Network (CAMS & C-CAMS) Maintenance Support
Current Project
Overview
Advance Scientific Instrument Consortium (ASIC) is involved in repair and maintenance services for Bangladesh's national air quality monitoring network under the Department of Environment, ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, People's Republic of Bangladesh, including Continuous Air Monitoring Stations (CAMS) and Compact Continuous Air Monitoring Stations (C-CAMS). The network supports monitoring of particulate matter, gaseous pollutants, and meteorological parameters across various locations in Bangladesh.
This project contributes to Bangladesh's air quality monitoring system by keeping national monitoring stations operational and reducing avoidable data gaps. Reliable station performance supports continuous data collection, AQI reporting, trend analysis, and evidence-based air quality management by the Department of Environment.
ASIC's Role and Capabilities
• Preventive and corrective maintenance for air monitoring stations
• Support for pollutant analyzers and meteorological sensors
• Troubleshooting, field servicing, consumables replacement, and repair support
• Coordination with DoE personnel and station-level operators
• Support for continuous data capture and reduction of station downtime
• Data review, system performance documentation, and reporting to DoE
Through this national monitoring support role, ASIC helps strengthen the data foundation needed for cleaner air policies and public information. The work directly aligns with ASIC's vision to contribute to cleaner air in Bangladesh and support a safer, healthier, and more breathable environment for present and future generations.
